First Flex + Rails application released
Submitted by Daniel on Fri, 2008-08-15 16:10.This took me a while to accomplish. I have never used Flex for development before and I had to learn it and also the integration with Rails using its HttpService component.
Well, it's finally done. I will be posting a demo very soon.

Rails 2.1 and Ruboss forced me to start using Git
Submitted by Daniel on Thu, 2008-07-10 12:45.I was procastinating the learning of Git until necessary, well the time came. I am about to start a new project that will require Flex 3 (using Ruboss) for the user interface and Rails 2.1 as the backend. Both frameworks, Ruboss and Rails are now using Git as their source control system, and both are hosted on GitHub.

Erlang exploration
Submitted by Daniel on Fri, 2008-07-04 13:17.Since the release of Programming Erlang: Software for a Concurrent World I was curious about this language and its benefits, so I decided to get the PDF and give it a try. After a few hours I noticed some similarities with Prolog, which I learned by reading Turbo Prolog around 1989. I did not have much success building my own Prolog version of Tic Tac Toe, but it kept me busy for a month at least.

Wiki and blog being shutdown
Submitted by Daniel on Wed, 2008-07-02 09:53.We decided to integrate our wiki (MediaWiki) and blog (Mephisto) into Drupal since these two are core features. The migration consisted of copying, pasting and removing extra characters when needed.

Drupal was installed and setup as our main repository
Submitted by admin on Fri, 2008-06-27 10:41.After spending two weeks evaluating various CMS, we decided to go with Drupal. Its feature set, the thriving community and broad number of extensions made it the best choice.
